Warren Gieck Honored With The “Excellence In Technology” Award At InterCon Las Vegas, 2021

Las Vegas, Nevada — June 28, 2021 — Warren Gieck, Co-Founder at General Genomics Inc., was honored with the prestigious “Excellence in Technology” award for his significant and tangible contributions towards the technology industry at the third edition of InterCon — the Internet Conference, held at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, USA on June 23–25, 2021.

Warren has over 25 years of experience in industrial automation, software development, technology innovation, and digital transformation strategy development, working for multinational corporations. He has developed robotics and software systems for the Canadian Space Agency, the Canadian Military, the RCMP, Environment Canada, and more.

As part of General Electric’s Customer Innovation Centre, then a contract agency for global leaders such as Baker Hughes, Warren was responsible for optimization, automation, machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI), and digital twin initiatives. With several critical technology patents currently pending, Warren brings his passion to General Genomics, developing the next stage of ML/AI/bioinformatics-driven individualized health care.

When asked about his long-term goals and aspirations, he commented, “Currently I am working with a startup in Texas, currently working genetic data and health history to find out why certain people have a issues with treatment and diseases or symptoms that other people don’t, and if can find the source we might be able to help people in the future.”
